Week 1: Focusing on Lovingkindness (Chesed)

C -  Contemplate: “When we become aware of and engage in developing the force of true self-love, we will surely ascend to loving our fellows and relatives, and fulfill the divine directive of ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’ (Leviticus 19:18).” (Rabbi Isaac Sher)

O -  Observe: What do you love about yourself?

U -  Use: “The kind person is kind to themself.” (Proverbs 11:17)

N -  Notice when find yourself being overly self-critical. Instead of criticizing your flaws, focus on validating your strengths.

T -Try: Identify the top three qualities you love most about yourself. They can be traits, aptitudes, or behaviors. Write them down and post them in a place where you will see them and remind yourself of them each day this week.
