Week 6: Focusing on Truth (Emet)
C - Contemplate: “The less we expand ourselves—in money, power, time, and ego—the more space can be permeated with truth.” (Rabbi Mordechai Miller)
O - Observe: In what ways are you trying to be someone or something you know you are not? In what ways are you not being the person you know yourself to be?
U - Use: “One’s inside should be like one’s outside.” (Talmud)
N - Notice when what you’re doing feels “in alignment” with what you’re thinking and feeling, and reflect on the strengths that are being exercised in those moments. Conversely, reflect on which traits could be strengthened in moments when you feel out of alignment.
T - Try: Ask a person you know well what they see as your strengths each day this week. Consider what they say in light of your own assessment of your strengths.
